Edmonton is a big city with a lot to see, which means covering some ground. The Edmonton Explorer makes it easy by connecting the city's best spots, from the downtown Arts District all the way to West Edmonton Mall. Our trolleys run across two distinct routes, hitting 20 major stops along the way. With a reliable schedule and easy connection points, we take the stress out of navigating a large city, letting you move from downtown to the west end and everywhere in between, completely hassle-free.

Hop-on, Hop-off: Choose any of our 20 stops to start your day, jump off wherever you'd like to explore further, we will pick you up again later.

Predictable Schedules: Operating daily from 9am - 5pm across two distinct routes. The Central route operates on a 90-minute loop, and the Western route operates on a 2-hour loop. For complete schedules including pick up times at each stop, please visit edmontonexplorer.travel and scroll down to the schedule section of the homepage.

Curated Stops: Serving 20 locations across the city. Pick where you jump on and off throughout the day.

Seamless Transfers: Effortlessly move from the Central to the Western loop using any of our 5 transfer hubs.

FAQs:
Are the trolleys wheelchair accessible?
Yes. To ensure an inclusive experience for all guests, our fleet includes dedicated wheelchair-accessible seating for 2 wheelchairs and ramps.
Can I bring a stroller or luggage on board?
We welcome collapsible strollers and small day-packs. Due to the vintage configuration of our Molly Trolleys, we cannot accommodate large suitcases or large non-collapsible strollers.
Do you operate in the rain?
Yes. Our Molly Trolleys are fully enclosed, ensuring a comfortable experience regardless of the weather.
How long is a full loop if I stay on the trolley?
A full, non-stop circuit on the Central Loop takes approximately 90-minutes, while the western loop is 120-minutes. Every loop is fully narrated by a live, professional driver-guide, making it an excellent standalone city tour.
How does the hop-on, hop-off system work?
It’s designed for leisurely flexibility. We operate two routes: the Central Loop (River Blue) and the Western Loop (Prairie Yellow). You can get on or off at any of our 20 curated destinations, spend as much time as you like, and simply catch a later trolley to continue your journey of discovery. Tickets are activated when you first board the bus and remain valid for either 24 or 72 consecutive hours. Please note that buses operate on a daily schedule and do not run overnight.
Where can I find move information on the schedule or route?
